I ordered birthday flowers for my mom via Door Dash as I live two hours away and needed them delivered and I’ve attached what I bought as this was the photo referenced, described, and attached to the Happy Orange Birthday floral arrangement. I added on the purchase of a clear vase as well since I knew my mom didn’t have one at work and liked the balloon detailed in the description as a nice touch. The flowers arrived and as you can see in the next photos, is nothing as advertised. She did not get the vase I paid extra for, a plastic bag with bumble bees on it was in its place, entirely different flowers, and no balloon. I called the florist on their number and asked if there was confusion and she told me that she just didn’t have the correct flowers in stock, didn’t have a vase, and essentially blamed me for this as I preordered the bouquet the morning of, before the store opened at 9am. I am fully aware and confirmed with DoorDash that stores/merchants are able to decline or cancel preorders for situations like this, if they didn’t have the time or correct materials so I noted that to her and stated I was disappointed as I ordered last year and they were decent. very disappointed with the flowers from elenas. we hired her over a year prior to our wedding because she seemed very nice and her prices were reasonable. over that time, we were in constant communication with elena- sending emails, texts, phone calls and even visiting her shop in person twice while providing colored photos of what we wanted for our wedding. everything was laid out for her. although she didn’t always respond, or in a timely manner, she still seemed to understand what we wanted from our wedding flowers. after reading a few reviews of her being late or others being unable to get a hold of her on their wedding day, I decided to recruit a family friend to pick up our flowers and ensure nothing was missing or late. when she arrived, she found our flowers to not be ANYTHING like what we wanted. The colors were blush (my wedding was black and white), she added greenery that I did not ask for or approve, she also put flowers with black in them which I specifically asked not for. she also put flowers that were not bloomed- and said they would bloom by this afternoon….. my requests were simple- or so I thought- white roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus & babies breath. Working with Elena this year was an absolute pleasure! She did the floral for my wedding and exceeded expectations! I shared my vision and she brought it to life! We received so many compliments on ALL of the floral arrangements- guests were excited to take the beautiful centerpieces home 😊 highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Elena’s Flowers, in Cleveland Ohio (located in little Italy). I had a bright garden themed wedding and this woman saved me THOUSANDS. I spoke with many florists, and she blew away their prices (about 50%), all real flowers. And she is an actual florist who owns her own shop, not just working out of her home. Her travel fee was also incredibly reasonable, and my wedding was an hour away. I don’t know how she does it, but she will easily cut your floral cost in half for professional quality. I visited her shop and spoke to her in person. But you can call as well. If flowers are important to you and you want bang for your buck, use Elena’s Flowers!
